We bring food to neighbors and help people find homes through our community-supported social enterprise.
Goodwill Northern Michigan is a community-owned nonprofit with community programs — including Food Rescue, Street Outreach, the Goodwill Inn, Supportive Housing, Good Meals, Patriot Place, and Good Partner Vouchers — that serve a 19-county region from Wexford to Cheboygan. Donations and sales at our thrift stores, combined with financial support from a generous donor community, allow us to increase housing stability and food security for some of our most vulnerable neighbors in Northern Michigan.

Housing
We envision a strong community that works effectively together to end homelessness for adults, families, and children in our region. We seek to build the committed partnerships our community needs to increase housing stability and make homelessness rare and brief in Northern Michigan.
Food
We envision collaborative community efforts to provide access to nutritious food and prioritize food security for everyone in our community. We strengthen community efforts by distributing and rescuing food, focusing on best practices for rural food access.
Jobs
We envision our Goodwill employees pursuing their life and career goals with our support and encouragement, creating the future they want to see. We work with our Goodwill employees to expand their opportunities through professional and workforce development programs.
