I'm Anne Goldberg, a 73-year-old author and lifelong learner who believes that technology shouldn't be intimidating-it should be empowering. I wrote The Ultimate Guide to Smartphones for Seniors, titled Take This Phone and Shove It! A Frustrated Senior's Guide to Smartphones, to help older adults move from tech frustration to digital confidence with patience, humor, and heart.
After struggling with smartphones myself, I realized that many seniors felt the same way-lost, overwhelmed, and ready to "shove" their phones in a drawer. That's why I created lessons that are clear, friendly, and easy to follow, covering both iPhone and Android devices. From sending text messages and making video calls to taking photos, using apps, and staying safe online, my step-by-step approach turns confusion into confidence and makes learning stress-free-and even fun.
But my mission goes beyond teaching technology. It's about reminding people that age should never define what we can achieve. We are old enough to have a past and young enough to have a future(TM). Through encouragement, real-life understanding, and a touch of humor, I help seniors stay connected with family, friends, and the world-proving it's never too late to learn, grow, and embrace something new with joy.
