Knowing Jesus Through the Gospels
A Head and Heart Devotional Journey

The intention of this devotional is for it to be a Life-Changing head and heart journey with Jesus through the Gospels. As you go through the Gospels you will feel that you are going on a personal life-changing journey with Jesus. The daily devotional readings are designed to get you talking with Jesus each day about His life and yours. Each day you will feel like you are on a journey with Jesus, learning something new about Him and yourself. As your understanding of His life grows, so will your understanding of your life and its purpose grow. This journey is a chronological journey of the life of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels (i.e. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). We will cover all the passages in the Gospels on this Journey, and Jesus' life and teachings will come alive for you like never before. The Gospels contain the record of Jesus' life on earth recorded by those who knew him and walked with him. Thus, we have an amazing opportunity to dig into Jesus' life and get to know him in a very personal way by talking to him about his life when he walked the earth. By breaking His story into bite-size pieces and getting you to interact with Jesus as the story unfolds, your personal relationship with Jesus and your sense of connection with him on a daily basis will be greatly enhanced. Each day begins with a Bible passage(s) from the Gospels, an outline of the passage, a commentary on the passage, and a reflection and prayer time digging into the passage and talking to Jesus about it. My greatest passion for writing this devotional is to help any person who desires to open the Gospels and get to know Jesus better.
