This looks like a first edition, although it is not first state -"stopped" is spelled correctly on p. 181. There is no indication of a later printing on title or copyright pages. Unfortunately, this copy has been rebound in floral patterned cloth. Front board is loose. Last page is glued to rear board - there was probably a rear endpaper. A few small spots on pages and corners of a few back pages are creased.
